How to Measure Head for Wig
To begin measuring your head for a wig, pull your hair up and away from your face and secure it with a hair band or clip. If you have short hair, consider using a cloth headband to hold it back.
Circumference Measurement: Use a flexible tape measure and lay it around the back of your head, touching the base of your skull where the wig will end. Pull the tape forward just above your ears and position the end of the tape at the mid-point of your front hairline.
Ear-to-ear Measurement: Position the end of the tape just above one ear and pulling it across the top of your head to the top of your other ear.
Front-to-back Measurement: Position the end of the tape in the center of your forehead and pulling it gently down the center of your head to the nape of your neck.
