How to Trade-In at Charmanty?

Select trade-in option on our wig product page, and answer a few questions to get your estimated trade-in value.
Step 2: Shop Now, Trade-In Credit Guaranteed
Your trade-in value can be applied to any payment option. After you make the purchase, we'll credit your payment method after we receive and evaluate your trade-in. Please note that each new wig you purchase is eligible for only one trade-in credit.
Step 3: Get Ready to Trade-In Your Wig
You will receive a trade-in email. Please prepare your old wig as per the instructions in the email. A free mail-in label will come with your new wig. Please ship your old wig within 7 days once receiving your new wig.

1. How does the trade-in program work?
To participate, select a new wig from charmantyhair.com, then choose the trade-in option on the product page. Fill out the details of your old wig, and we’ll provide an estimated trade-in value. After sending in your wig, we’ll inspect it and issue your final trade-in credit.
2. What types of wigs are eligible for trade-in?
We only accept 100% human hair wigs from Charmanty and major U.S. brands, including Mayvenn, Hairvivi, Luvme, and Unice. Synthetic or synthetic blend wigs are not eligible.
3. How long should I take to send out my trade-in wig?
We recommend sending out your trade-in wig within 7 days of receiving the appraisal to ensure a smooth process.
4. Can I trade in multiple wigs for my wig purchase?
Each wig purchase is eligible for one trade-in credit. If you're purchasing multiple wigs (e.g., three wigs), you can trade in up to three wigs—one for each new wig purchase.
5. How will I receive my trade-in value?
Your trade-in value will be credited back to your original payment method after our physical evaluation of the wig. The credit is typically processed within 2 business days, though it may take up to 5 additional business days to appear on your account.
6. Can I get cash for my trade-in wig?
Trade-in values are issued as store credit only and cannot be redeemed for cash. The credit can be applied toward purchase order on CharmantyHair.com.
7. What happens if my trade-in wig doesn’t meet the eligibility criteria?
If your wig doesn’t meet our criteria or is in poor condition, we’ll notify you to offer a reduced trade-in value.
8. How is the trade-in value determined?
The value is based on the wig’s brand, condition, length, lace type, and whether the wig has been chemically treated. The final value will be confirmed after our team inspects the wig.
9. Can I track the status of my trade-in?
Yes, once we receive your wig, we will keep you updated on the inspection process and notify you when the trade-in value has been credited to your account.

Welcome to the Charmanty Wig Trade-In Program. Please review the following terms and conditions to understand how our trade-in program works.
Eligibility
The trade-in program applies exclusively to 100% human hair wigs. Synthetic or synthetic blend wigs are not eligible for trade-in.
Only wigs purchased from Charmanty and select competitor brands (e.g., Luvme, Unice, Isee, Mayvenn) are eligible for trade-in. Wigs from other brands may not qualify.
Trade-In Process
Initial Estimate:
When selecting a new wig on CharmantyHair.com, customers can use the trade-in option on the product page. By entering details of their old wig (e.g., brand, condition, length, and lace type), customers will receive an estimated trade-in value.
Submission:
After receiving the estimated value, customers must ship their wig to Charmanty for evaluation. A prepaid shipping label will be provided.
Receiving Credit:
Trade-in values are issued as store credit only and cannot be redeemed for cash. The credit can be applied toward future purchases on CharmantyHair.com and is non-transferable.
Trade-In Value
Trade-in values may vary depending on the brand, wig condition, length, and other features (e.g., lace type, bleached knots).
For Charmanty brand wigs, trade-in values may reach up to $50.
Trade-ins for select competitor brands will offer up to $30 in store credit based on the condition and features of the wig.
Conditions
Wigs must be clean, untangled, and in good wearable condition. Heavily damaged wigs, such as those with significant shedding, extreme tangling, or balding, may be ineligible or assigned a lower trade-in value.
Charmanty reserves the right to refuse any trade-in that does not meet the program's criteria.
Recycling and Sustainability
Wigs that are not eligible for remanufacturing as part of Charmanty’s certified pre-owned product line may be recycled through eco-friendly processes. These wigs will be repurposed, such as being used as a fertilizer additive, to promote sustainable practices.
Final Notes
All trade-in submissions are final once confirmed and cannot be reversed.
Store credit issued from trade-ins is valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.
Charmanty reserves the right to modify or discontinue the trade-in program at any time without prior notice.
